Week 8 - Plumbing and Porches

...We're moved. D and I are living on Advil from 14 bagillion trips up the stairs to our third floor apartment.We're in temporary quarters at the Leeward right behind D's work. Sassy is traumatized. "What happened to my backyard kingdom?" he wonders. Half our stuff is here and half is in a couple of mini-warehouses near Plantation on Cotton Bayou.

No brick house yet at 5902 Cajun Way. They pulled plumbing this week and put in the hot water heaters. The decking was put down on the front porch. We're waiting on the bid from Reed on the front door.
 
2/20/99 - Oval window was installed in the gable. It will have casing added to make it look like the transom above the front door. 2/20/99 - Felt for siding is complete and round vents were added this week. 2/20/99 - Columns on back porch complete and french doors have been installed
